Join our Grounds and Maintenance team and be part of something special


Just 4 miles away from the Norfolk Broads National Park, Waxham Sands Holiday Park offers dog-friendly holidays for families wanting to get back to nature.

We are looking for a Grounds and Maintenance Team Member to ensure everything on park is in tip-top condition.


Pay:
£12.00 per hour


Contract:
Both permanent and seasonal (May to end of September) available


Hours:
Full time (40 hours per week) and part time (32 hours per week) available


Live In:
Not available with this role


What will you do?

  • Planting of park planters and bedding areas, together with pruning and maintenance of plants, hedges, shrubs and trees to seasonal schedules
  • Watering of hanging baskets, hayracks and summer bedding
  • Ensuring park grounds. Roadways, paths, bins, bin bays and public areas are clean and free from litter and loose debris
  • Assisting in the moving and siting of holiday homes
  • Maintain and repair all fencing, trellis work, walls and signage
  • Completing daily site walks and having active guest interaction
  • Completing aftersales checks and repairs as required
  • Working collaboratively across the whole park team

What are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who has experience in carrying out grounds and maintenance tasks to a high standard. You may have planned and delivered annual routine maintenance tasks as well as general gardening tasks. You will enjoy interacting with guests and working in a customer-service environment.

Most importantly you will be self-motivated and have experience of working in a team to support your colleagues to deliver.

Plumbing experience would be advantageous.
