We are looking for an qualified and experienced Room Leader or a childcare practitioner who has 2 years experience and is looking to take the next step in their career to join our small team.


Your duties will be:

  • Supervise and lead a team of nursery staff members
  • Create and implement developmentally appropriate activities for children
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children in the nursery
  • Maintain a clean and organised nursery environment
  • Communicate with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns
  • Collaborate with managers and staff members to create a cohesive and supportive team
Requirements of the Job position

  • Qualification of level 3 or above in Childcare
  • Knowledge of safeguarding
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a nursery or childcare setting
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a team
  • Knowledge of child development principles and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
  • First Aid certification preferred but not essential as we can put through training

The Nursery Room Leader may be required to perform additional tasks as needed to support the smooth operation of the nursery.


Salary:
£12.50-£13.00 per hour
