Finance Business Partner, to act as the partner, gatekeeper and financial conscience to partner our Supply Chain operations function.

About the Role
As
Finance Business Partner you report to the Operations Finance Manager and are part of a dedicated operationally focused finance business partnering team.
You will also deliver accurate management accounts, budgets and forecasts, identifying and highlighting the key activity cost drivers to enhance financial outcomes for Supply Chain.
You will have already been in a similar role, so are probably aware of these key main duties and responsibilities, but to be transparent here is a summary:
- Own and coordinate the planning and reporting cycles for Refresco UK Supply Chain function.
- Build effective business relationships and gain credibility as a true business expert. You will have an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to provide financial insights that improve performance.
- Be particularly meticulous and vigilant in planning, monitoring, and reporting headcount, waste, energy, and maintenance performance.
- Act as the financial conscience of the Supply Chain team, ensuring that targets are met or exceeded.
- Prepare financial calculations / models to support capital expenditure business cases, including robust challenge on assumptions to ensure return on investment is maximised.
- Prepare and execute period end tasks at the required standard and time scales and deliver accurate reports on time.
- Maintain all necessary records and prepare all required period end allocations and journals.
- Deliver ad hoc projects and analysis as required from time to time.
About You
You will be used to working in a team, sharing ideas, knowledge and expertise with colleagues around you.
Working with your stakeholders, you have the ability and experience to guide and empower them, help them to deliver accurate results and support proactively.
A good communicator, in meetings and presentations, you have a knack of picking out the salient points which will be critical to improve performance.
You will need to be used to working in a fast paced, demanding environment so manufacturing sector exposure is essential.
You will need experience of working with ERP systems, preferably SAP, handling data and your MS Office skills will need to be very good, in particular MS Excel.
