Teaching Assistant

35.5 hours per week (Mon - Thurs 8:30 am - 4:15 pm, Tue 5 pm finish Fri 2:45 pm finish).

Salary £20,812 - £21,575 (term time only); pro-rata salary £17,883 - £18,539
St Mary's is a non-maintained residential special school for children with Speech, Language and Communication needs.

St Mary's is based on the south east coast of England in Bexhill, East Sussex and we cater for both residential and day pupils aged 7 to 19.


They are seeking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to work within a small class team who are responsible for providing personalised support to pupils at the school and college.


You will need to be positive, kind and caring, with basic knowledge of support needs of pupils with special educational needs and a commitment to providing outstanding support to pupils.

We can offer a strong staff team, wonderful pupils to work with and a positive working environment.
