Yard Supervisor required in the Sheffield (S9) area

This is an exciting opportunity to join a family run business working within a scrap metal yard.

Hours of work:
Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm

Pay:
Salary looking to start between £29,000 - £33,000 depending upon experience

Other benefits include:
No weekend work, company events, working for a well-established business, onsite parking and progression opportunities.

Job duties of the Yard Supervisor to include:

  • You will be responsible for the day to day running of the yard
  • You will be responsible for managing a small team
  • FLT duties to be involved
  • Moving materials around the yard
  • Operating various machinery
  • Dealing with all deliveries to site
  • Completing relevant paperwork
  • All other duties that see fit

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has previous supervisory/management experience
  • Has a valid FLT licence
  • Has a full UK driving licence
  • Is able to differentiate between Ferrous and Non Ferrous metals
