NOW Careers are currently recruiting for an experienced Financial Controller for their reputable, Bridgend based food wholesaler Client.

This is a full time, hybrid role (1 day a week based in Bridgend office, 4 days WFH)

Salary:
up to £60,000pa DOE


Our client is seeking to recruit a hands-on Financial Controller who has an entrepreneurial flair, with an ability to communicate at all levels, who wants to drive the business forward.

Main duties of the role to include Preparation and presentation of monthly management accounts

  • Deal with budgets and forecasts
  • Review and analyse expenditure and overheads
  • Manage company expense system
  • Liaise with external Accountants
  • Work closely with SMT attending board meetings
  • Provide reporting to SMT
  • Oversee credit control processes
  • Oversee purchase ledger process
  • Prepare and handle VAT Returns
  • Develop and implement systems or processes to improve financial management
  • Report to Directors on all aspects of financial performance and management and provide effective and reliable support
  • Maintain excellent relationships with Bank
  • Deal with external auditors
  • Tax duties
  • Cash management and forecasting
