Unity Lead Engineer - Full Time Remote in Europe - Or onsite in Hamburg

As a Unity Lead Engineer - you will have the opportunity to make a significant contribution to the success of our text-based live simulation mobile game.

In addition to ensuring stable operations, your main responsibilities will include the continuous delivery of gameplay features in the project.

In doing that, you will be active in game development and specification and make sure that you'll be able to work smoothly within the project through your proactive communication and hands-on mentality.


YOUR MISSION

  • Design, develop and maintain gameplay features for Unity3D written in C# and its systems
  • Take an active part in game creation and specification; build prototypes of concepts based on the game design
  • Proactively communicate with crossfunctional teams
  • Be able to guide and coordinate other developers in development tasks, by using pair programming or similar techniques. Share knowledge and best practices with your colleagues and other teams
  • Collaborate in the development of innovative new games in interdisciplinary and international teams

YOUR BACKSTORY

  • Several years of experience of working as a Unity Expert within the games industry
  • First teamleading experience of any form is a great advantage
  • Excellent knowledge of Unity game engine, C#, object oriented programming and SOLID principles
  • Experience with iOS and Android mobile development
  • Familiar with Git and Perforce
  • A motivated team player and excellent communicator who enjoys working in an international team, you are described as selforganized, focused, disciplined, and with a strong handson mentality
  • Used to work in agile and fastpaced environments
  • Fluent written and spoken English skills
