Planit, a place-based design practice, are seeking Urban Designers with a minimum of 4 years' relevant experience to join our team in Altrincham, Manchester.

You will have the opportunity to be part of a diverse team shaping ambitious projects, design strategies and solutions to meet the challenges of social inclusion, economic regeneration, the climate crisis and regenerative design.

Building on a number of successful city-wide strategic urban design projects in Sheffield and Leeds, and after recently winning a number of exiting commissions for large strategic urban design work in Stockport, we are keen to build on this success and grow our Urban Design Team within the northern region.

To qualify for the role, you should possess a post-graduate qualification in Urban Design and and be interested in working at the strategic scale.

You should also be capable of managing projects from inception to completion and have demonstrable experience of managing workloads, enjoy working as a team and mentoring team members, be self motivated, engaged and creative.
