Talent Beyond Boundaries (TBB) envisions a world where forcibly displaced people can use their skills and talents to move to secure futures.

We work with governments, employers and partners to overcome the barriers that often prevent refugees from accessing skilled migration pathways.

TBB seeks to be a catalyst for systems change in skilled migration, laying the groundwork for this solution to scale to serve millions of displaced people.


SCOPE OF ROLE


This role is responsible for the administration support to the entire TBB UK&E team, with a particular focus on supporting any and all financial administration and reporting.

There will also be the responsibility of travel and diary management for the UK and Europe Director and the wider team, and ensuring all expenses and travel arrangements are covered.

This is a 1 year fixed term contract, with the option to extend.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analysing processes and procedures and developing process enhancement strategies.
  • Management of team travel booking and travel expenses.
  • Organising and preparing for meetings, including gathering documents and attending to logistics of meetings for UK & Europe Director, and Team on request.
  • Note taking, and keeping Salesforce and other data management systems updated.
  • Completing a variety of special projects including creating presentations, financial spreadsheets, special reports, and agenda material.
  • Providing support with processing invoices, receipts and payments.
  • Assisting with month end close and the preparation of the monthly management accounts.
  • Supporting the project team with administrative tasks related to projects, such as reporting, collating relevant documents, and managing deadlines.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & ATTITUDES

Essential

  • Extensive experience in either a Finance/Accounting Admin role or as an Executive Assistant.
  • Good track record of creating financial reports and managing expenses.
  • Clear communication skills with the ability to establish and maintain key stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong ability to work autonomously and proactively, identifying key areas for support and improvement.
  • Strong computer literacy, ideally with an established knowledge of Xero, Slack and Google Suite.

Desirable

  • Successful completion of relevant Bachelors or Masters level education or equivalent
  • Lived refugee experience.
  • Experience working with people of refugee or marginalised backgrounds, or in the NGO sector.
