Manual Gear Cutter


Location:
Leicester


Salary:
Up to £16 per hour (dependent on experience) + Company Package

The Gear Cutter will play a key part within the company, and you will ideally hold a strong engineering background within a precision engineering / automotive manufacturing business.

You will be a part of a thriving business that have over 80 years' experience providing specialist gears into the Automotive, Motorsport, Agricultural and Vintage industries.

As a Gear Cutter, your main responsibilities will be:

  • Working with manual and CNC gears such as Klingelnberg, Pfauter, David Brown, Mikron, and Shapers
  • Manufacturing a mix of 1off and batch work gears
  • Previous experience as a Gear Cutter within an engineering
company

  • Comfortable and confident with reading engineering drawings
  • Flexible character with a "yes we can" positive mentality

The standard working hours will be 07:30 AM - 16:00 PM (Monday to Thursday) and 07:30 AM - 12:30 PM Friday (No lunch).
