Super exciting interim Finance Director, Manufacturing company in Northamptonshire.
Friendly, innovative, and evolving business, an excellent opportunity to make an impact quickly.
The role is currently interim with the possibility to go permanent.

The team are friendly, welcoming and hardworking; they are so excited about having the support from an Experienced Finance Director.

You will have be responsible for a finance team of 6 including Financial Controller (who works remotely majority of the time),Finance Manager, Project Accountant and 3 in Accounts Administration.

Previous experience in transformation/ turnaround projects would be highly advantageous.

A presence in the office 4-5 days per week is preferable for the first 3 months with hybrid 2 days per week available after this/ if the role goes permanent.

Duties include:

Financial due diligence, management and advice regarding Turnaround project
Create Management Accounts & reports for the Board and Senior Management
Cash Flow Analysis, Control & Forecasting
Constantly monitor performance against budgets and forecasts
Lead and develop the importance of ERP system across the business
Lead review of business costs, margins and drive improvements in profitability
Business partner across the company to understand challenges and deliver change which will impact on the financial health of the company.
Assess the viability of the company revenue streams
Lead & oversee Audits and maintain statutory compliance

Person:

ACCA/ CIMA/ACA Qualified (or equivalent)
Able to operate at board level and have gravitas in senior meetings
Excellent communicator
Able to work on your own initiative
Assertive, as you will need to speak with many nonaccounts managers across the business to gather information which will be essential for this role
