Kitchen Assistant


Responsibilities:


  • Assist in food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and assembling dishes
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
  • Receive and store food supplies and ingredients
  • Assist in setting up and organizing catering events
  • Assist in serving food to customers or guests
  • Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines

Skills:


  • Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed

Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 25 per week


Salary:
£10.60 per hour


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Hove, BN3 5DB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Catering: 1 year (preferred)
  • Kitchen experience: 1 year (preferred)
