Description

The Tuition and Medical Needs Education Team are seeking to appoint a part time Specialist Teaching Assistant. The position will be working 3 days per week supporting young people with their academic learning. We are looking for someone who is willing to work with young people aged between 4-16.

You will support them with their academic learning; this could either be within our classroom, in the pupils home or in schools.

You will have had some experience in working with young people up to GCSE level. It would be beneficial for you to be confident in GCSE Maths or Science.

You will be passionate, proactive and empathetic and will have had experience with working with a range of young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, Autism, ADHD and other additional needs.

You will have a friendly and positive approach to teaching and learning, as well as the ability to quickly build up strong relationships and rapport with individual children is important.
