We operate a recycling facility based in UK in Whittlesey (PE7 2EX), which opened in March 2017, specialises in the collection of a variety of plastic and polymer processing and manufacturing industrial waste across the UK.

Hours of work - 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday. Starting pay rate - £11.84 per hour and time and half for overtime. Increases after successful probation (6 months).


What You'll Do

  • Undertake onthejob training in all departments.
  • Ensure that daily targets are met for your area of responsibility.
  • Ensure that all Health and Safety procedures including but not limited to wearing of P.P.E. are followed.
  • Ensure that all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and Factory procedures are followed.
  • Continuously look for ways to improve processes and strive to reduce waste where possible (5S).
  • Assist the Team Leader with risk assessments, safety audits and SOP's.
  • Notify the Team Leader and the Health and Safety supervisor of any new or changed procedures that may require a new or amended risk assessment.
  • Report to the Team Leader and the Production Manager any Health and Safety issues that arise during the day.
  • Ensure housekeeping duties are carried out and all work areas and machinery are kept at the agreed standard.
  • Ensure you are motivated and your morale is kept high in keeping with the Vanden Values.
  • Achieve a minimum of 75% on Vanden's polymer knowledge test.
  • Achieve competence in operating at least 3 lines.
  • Maintain a minimum attendance level of 95%.

What You'll Need

  • Must be literate in spoken and written Maths and English.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety at Work
  • Advantageous but not essential.


  • Current FLT Licence

  • Advantageous but not essential.
  • Maintain a flexible approach and be selfmotivated.
  • Able to manage and respond quickly to changing/competing priorities.
  • Highly organized, plans time effectively to ensure tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Willingness to learn and increase knowledge of plastic and recycling.

Our Recruitment Process

Interview in person and site tour - (1 hour)
