I am recruiting on behalf of a successful and growing services organisation in Cardiff.

Due to retirement of their current Financial Controller the business is seeking a replacement qualified FC to take over the day to day running of the finance functionand its accounts staff.

The business turns over in the region of £30 million but has ambitious plans to grow. The FC will report into the Group FD.

Main duties of the role will include Day to day management of the finance team and their daily tasks

Assist with the production of monthly management accounts for P&L, BS and Cashflow submitted to Group
Authorisation of and managing bank reconciliations submitted to Group
Creating monthly balance sheet reconciliations submitted to Group
Responsible for authorising payrolls/creditor runs
Internal KPI reporting for all companies within the Group and will assist with Management Reporting (Power BI)
Assist management team with budget processing and monthly tracking
Authorising and posting journals
Managing, reviewing, and submitting shortterm cashflow forecasts to Group
Maintaining asset register/depreciation schedules
Responsible for management of group WIP
Audit lead for both Group internal audits and external audits
VAT returns
PAYE/CIS Returns
