The opportunity

Project:
This project is with a UK-branded clothing company.

To effectively coordinate the FM service for all stores in the UK.

To support the account lead to develop and grow the account to best support the client's strategic ambitions


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring a safetyfirst approach to all operations.
  • Monitoring vendor performance against established KPIs, SLA and task resolution priorities.
  • Liaising with facilities helpdesk to ensure vendors are working to complete and close tasks in a timely fashion.
  • Developing good working relationships with key vendors, and ensuring service is aligned with client expectations.
  • Liaising with landlords/managing agents as required.
  • Ensuring effective resource planning to ensure continuity of service taking appropriate and approved actions to rectify any difficulties.
  • Establishing and continually reviewing client needs and expectations and ensuring systems, procedures and resources are in place to ensure those needs are delivered.
  • Monitoring performance data and providing insight to the wider team on recommendations or improvements.
  • Participating in regular, minuted, vendor service reviews to ensure actions are documented and followed up.
  • Adopting a flexible approach to undertaking additional administration tasks which to support the FM team.
  • Providing QHSE responsibility to ensure Mace systems and processes are followed, and where necessary escalating H&S risks to the client.
  • Auditing to develop, implement and promote integrated management systems and processes.
  • Overseeing site operations manual and ensuring all procedures are reviewed and updated regularly.
  • Taking the lead in proactively handling complaints ensuring that rectification actions are quickly established and executed to minimise any damage to the client relationship. To use complaint situations as opportunities to recover and exceed client confidence.
  • Keeping up to date with industry information and ensuring a good understanding of products and services in the marketplace that may offer a service improvement for the client.
  • Dealing with any shortfalls in service delivery promptly and effectively through effective contract management.
  • Ensuring that any procurement activity is within strict compliance with Mace procedures.
  • Creating and maintaining a peer network to ensure good communication and sharing of best practices and innovation across clients.
  • Understanding of the contractual requirements and ensuring the change control process is followed if the client engages Mace in any outofscope work.
  • Working with the facilities account lead to increasing the profile of the FM team through effective branding, marketing, communication and customer service.
  • Working proactively to manage and develop the relationship with the client for all aspects covered within the role, and ensure significant interactions are logged as CRM.
  • Using Mace risk management tools to ensure account risks are highlighted and mitigated as far as possible.
  • Promoting a culture of continuous improvement and a 'can do' attitude within the FM team.
About you

Ideally, you have certification in IOSH or NEBOSH is beneficial. You have previous facilities management experience preferred.

You are digitally savvy and can provide support to strong motivated teams.

You have experience in facilities management in the retail sector and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.
