Job Summary:
Nucare Pharmacy Aston Birmingham and Norton Canes Cannock in conjunction with Walsall College are offering a fully supported pharmacy assistant / technician apprenticeship course
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an Apprentice.

As an Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop valuable skills in patient care, medication administration, and pharmacy assistant/technician duties.

This is a paid position that offers a unique learning opportunity in the healthcare industry.


Responsibilities:


  • Assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care services
  • Learn and perform medication administration under supervision
  • Support pharmacy technicians in various tasks, such as inventory management and prescription processing
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain confidentiality of patient information
  • Attend training sessions and educational programs to enhance knowledge and skills

Skills:


  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities
