We have been building stronger families since 1869 and today we work with more than 60,000 families in over 150 community based services, as well as supporting thousands more through national programmes and grants.
The Finance department provides the complete finance function to the whole organisation overseeing all the 165 services across England, addressing all issues and processing payments to meet the demands of staff and external agencies.
Your impact
You will be a key member of a team responsible for ensuring that Family Action fulfils its statutory, regulatory and contractual requirements to the following external stakeholders, and meet in particular meet one of its key strategic objective of Managed Growth.
As such, you will be responsible for the coding of income and preparation of invoices to funders for services provided by Family Action.
Check payments are received promptly, chase unpaid invoices and maintain cash flow forecast for the organisation.Your skills
Good level of competence in Microsoft Office and proficient in Excel, ideally with experience of using Sun systems and Q&A.
You will be a confident communicator and comfortable working in a small team environment where priorities can change at short notice.
