Youth Worker - Young Offending
This role is for a youth worker, working with young adults aged 16-17 who are in contact with the youth justice system and at risk of custody.
This role is based in Newham and is holding interviews ASAP to start at the beginning of March / End of February.

Requirements as a Youth Worker - Young Offending.**- Previous experience working with young people at risk of custody.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to respond effectively to challenging behaviors.
- Great passion and empathy for challenging needs.
- Enhanced adult's and child's DBS on the update service
- Able to travel to and around Newham.
Youth Worker - Young Offending.**- To support the physical and emotional well-being.
- To safeguard young people through collaborative working.
- To assist in the implementation of a traumainformed environment.
- Maintain professional contact with parents or guardians.
- Ensure all medical and health support is followed adequately.
