Hitachi Energy is looking for a Content Marketing Leader you'll be responsible for developing a holistic plan for content strategy and development, from top of funnel through conversion and in support of expansion over time.
Critical to success, this leader will closely align and collaborate with the Digital Marketing, Field Marketing, Communications and Marketing Operations teams to effectively develop and execute this strategy.
This position will frequently interact with Product Leadership, Sales and Corporate Segment/Solution Marketing to align on priorities, and ensure optimal development of content based on customer journies, and content development best practices.
As Content Marketing Leader, you will set the standard for content quality by defining expectations/guidelines/templates and enforcing them in your role as leader of the Grid Automation editorial board.
You will guide our investment in content creation based on ROI-driven analysis, and will ensure that we balance our execution across internal and external resources for optimal ROI, while also driving innovation and best practice curation.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute content strategy and calendar, supported by marketing narratives & messaging docs in partnership with the Grid Automation Communications Leader.
- Jointly, with Communications lead Grid Automation Editorial Calendar, board, and operating rhythms to ensure crossfunctional alignment on content plans, status, and impact
- Develop clear editorial and content review process including guidelines/templates, facilitate a handson approach to lead your organization on its journey to deliver optimal content.
- Participate in and partner with MarCom leadership team's annual planning process to ensure that content plans are aligned to event, demand generation, product launches, sales enablement, website content, and other MarCom content priorities
- Lead content team to create engaging, compelling customer content fluidly across a variety of formats and media.
- Oversee Grid Automation's use of content management platforms to ensure that stakeholders are able to readily access content
- Lead the content management and content lifecycle processes
- Incorporate new content development technologies, new content formats, new testing and evaluation practices to the team continuously improve ROI on content investment.
- Bachelor's degree in English, communications, journalism, marketing, etc. and 1012 years of professional work experience in a marketing environment.
- Experience in content strategy within a Business to Business(B2B) marketing/communications environment
- Experience in utilities/energy/electrical manufacturing/transport industries
- Marketing content development, editing, distribution, measurement
- Lead generation and customer journey experience
- Salesforce or CRM equivalent advanced experience
- Inbound and outbound marketing tactics
- Excellent personal writing, editing, and design skills
- Marketing automation experience (Eloqua)
