Description

St Joseph's Nursing home has been rated CQC Outstanding, and is a charitable organisation, part of Little Sisters of the Poor.


We are looking for a maintenance gardener/driver to look after the gardens and grounds of our care home for the elderly.

The walled private grounds and gardens are a source of great pleasure to our residents so looking for a keen gardener to maintain the current excellent standards.

You will have a Clean Driving License and preferably have a D1 Minibus Driver License. We are located in M13 Manchester

Experience in mowing, tending lawns, pruning and planting plus general garden maintenance is essential

The tasks can be hard and laborious so applicants must be fit for the work.

Applicants must be flexible and prepared to undertake simple household maintenance and general caretaking duties when the weather is too bad for outdoor work.

Undertake driving duties to take residents to hospital appointments and other trips.


Applicants must have permit to work in the UK and as we are a care home for the elderly a DBS check and references will be required.

£10.97 per hour - free on site parking and free lunch provided
