Role Profile
An exciting opportunity for an experienced and influential
Head of Strategic Partnerships to join Lloyd's List Intelligence.

This role represents a significant intent for our business to continue to build high performing and mutually beneficial strategic partnerships with companies and customers across a wide range of sectors, in line with our longer-term strategic vision.


The role will report into the Chief Product Officer and will work cross-functionally with all levels and teams across the organisations.

This role is based on a balanced working model in our London or New York office.


Key Responsibilities

  • Create a plan for building multifaceted collaboration with partners and to drive crossfunctional activity to bring about:
  • flexible, agile, and collaborative engagement
- seamless customer experience
- clear contractual obligations on a case-by-case basis
- mutual benefit for both parties, focussed on increased value for the Lloyd's List Intelligence business.

  • Acts as a single point of contact and accountability for all partners
  • Responsible for communicating to the Maritime Leadership team who will ultimately approve proposed partnership contracts
  • Sits on the Data and Product management leadership team so that partnership activity is directed by product strategy and roadmap
  • Coordinates sales interactions with customers, in conjunction with the existing account manager (where applicable), ensuring that there is clear ownership of, and distinction between, the partner relationship and individual sales opportunities
  • Works with the assigned product manager(s) responsible for validating customer requirements and adjusting deliverables per partner/ customer requirements based on customer validation
  • Works with the data management team on ensuring that any data requirements are correctly captured, and data delivery offerings are well understood (SOW, SLAs etc)
  • Liaises with marketing and editorial to provide variety of media for partner and customer education and gotomarket activity

What we are looking for:


Essential

  • At least 5 years' experience of implementing partnership strategy and creating valueadd for the business
  • Proven experience of delivering partnership growth to agreed timelines and milestones, in line with a project plan
  • Great track record in demonstrating success criteria and KPI progress
  • Team player who brings a sense of positive energy and the ability to influence, inspire and motivate crossfunctional teams across the organisation
  • Communication is a power skill; intuitively understands specific communication style dependent on audience and situation. Seamlessly obtains buyin from teams and stakeholders. Fully comfortable with presentations to all audiences.
  • Actively nurtures crossteam relationships to ensure vision and strategy alignment
  • Selfstarter with the ability to work autonomously; a handson operational approach to get the job done.
  • Builds rapport and works effectively with a diverse range of people, immediate team, sharing knowledge and skills to deliver shared goals. Works closely with sales team to drive maximum value
  • Inner drive to do things better, meets or exceeds goals and continuous improvements. Works with energy and enthusiasm to deliver high quality results. Pays attention to detail and quality
  • Adjusts to changing demands and circumstances; remains calm, objective and in control in stressful situations

Desirable

  • Prior experience working within the B2B information services and especially with a Risk and compliance context.
  • A degree in any discipline (Business related degree's preferable)
  • Proficiency in an additional language
