Role Overview


You will take ownership in both the Banking and Credit Control for one of our key clients whilst assisting in complex account reconciliations across our full portfolio.


You will be a team player who will assist in the training and onboarding of new team members and assist the Credit Control Team leader with ad-hoc requests.


Key Responsibilities

Collections:
Responsible for the timely collection of Rent/Service Charge/Insurance and all other charges demanded on the client's system

Tenant Requests:
Provide tenants with copy invoices/statement of accounts, carrying out complex account reconciliations

Relationship Building:
Build close relationships with employees and external clients

Develop and maintain active communication both within your team and other teams, providing support and assistance to colleagues as required

Arrears Meetings:

Liaise with Property Managers to ensure arrears are reviewed on a regular basis, which will resolve queries and ensure debts that are not being recovered are escalated.

The role involves working within a Client focused team. The individual will have the responsibility to manage their own portfolio. High volume of calls are required and the role involves working with debt recovery agents, bailiffs and solicitors.

Liaising with a large number of both internal Clients and external tenants is a daily requirement so a high level of professionalism must be maintained at all times.

The individual will possess good organisational & communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure and a desire to continuously improve systems and processes, will be able to assist/guide the credit control team to ensure KPI's are met.


Previous Credit Control experience (preferably Property) is required but not essential and the Individual should have the ability to work well as part of a team as well as unsupervised.


The Senior Credit Controller will be experienced in high level volumes of receipt coding, processing income received and will have a good knowledge of spreadsheets; being a competent user of Microsoft Excel - with willingness to learn & adapt as necessary.


Team Overview


The Glasgow Credit Control Team is a new and growing team, offering a high level of client service delivery and interaction.

We are an extension of the Savills Central Finance Team who are based in Manchester.
