**Direct Sales Manager

Location:
Cardiff (and surrounding areas)**
Package: £26,000-£30,000 DOE +Commission etc

(Final package structure is open to negotiation as this is a brand new role)

Would you like the opportunity to grow, shape and lead a brand new direct sales team? Our client is a
major UK Telecommunications Provider, undoubtedly a household name, who have previously not done much in the door to door sales sector.

We are expecting the team to be based in the Bristol area, however over time you will facilitate travelto other local areas for yourself and your team.

As a Direct Sales Manager, you will achieve sales and performance targets through the effective coaching, development and management of a field based team of Direct Sales Advisors.

Working on behalf of a well respected Brand, excellent customer service andprofessional standards will be required at all times.

As Manager, you will be
responsible for the hiring of your own team and will be given all the support necessary to achieve this.


Your other responsibilities will include:


  • Lead by example and act as an ambassador at all times for the brand.
  • Accountable for delivery of sales revenue targets.
  • Coach your team to deliver high quality, technically accurate and customer relevant product information.
  • Ensure all products and customer encounters are ethical and appropriate.
  • Identifying best practice from Sales Consultants across a range of performance metrics including low cancellation rates and mentoring your team accordingly.
  • Being responsible for sustainable growth of your Area by taking full advantage of all marketing initiatives, and by ensuring all consultants are fully briefed on current promotions.
  • Ensure the effective size of your team to meet the delivery requirements.
  • On going performance reviews of each Direct Sales Advisor, ensuring they are supported using performance management tools.

What we think you will have done before & can demonstrate:

  • Experience exceeding targets within a previous direct sales management position.
  • Ability to manage a team of sales people.
  • Exceptional listening, questioning and communication skills.
  • Ability to coach and mentor others to achieve the collective goals.
  • Targetdriven mindset, with the ability to motivate and encourage others to achieve their goals.
  • Due to this being a fieldbased role with extensive travel a full Driving License is required.
