Description

We are looking for an experienced individual, to provide administrative support for Radiation services and support the efficient day to day running primarily of the radiology department.

The clerical co-ordinator is responsible for all receptionist duties, including scheduling of patient appointments and often being the first point of contact for visitors.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

  • Data input for Radiology requests into RADIS (radiology information system) departmental booking system.
  • Scheduling of patient appointments often interpreting complex clinical data to enable appropriate booking time.
  • Dealing with complex and sensitive questions regarding patient appointments
  • To act as first point of contact for patients and relatives entering or contacting the Radiology department.
  • To comply with all aspects of confidentiality and Information Governance.
  • To accurately input data on various IT systems regarding patient details and various test results
  • Maintain filing systems and prepare worklists for daily schedules.
  • To provide word processing clerical and photocopying support as necessary to any area of Radiation Services Directorate.
