About The Role:


Working within the Payroll Department, and reporting into the Head of Payroll, you will be an integral part of the team supporting employees with their day-to-day queries and processing two monthly Payrolls for Foxtons for 1,500+ employees and Alexander Hall for 100 employees.


  • Working with the Head of Payroll and senior stakeholders across the business to drive change including automation within the payroll function.
  • Processing high volume busy monthly payroll in a team from start to finish.
  • Working within Payroll deadlines
  • Processing monthly payroll data for starters, leavers, and changes.
  • Calculating SSP, SMP/SPP, student loans, attachment of earning
  • Processing salary sacrifice schemes including childcare vouchers.
  • Responsible for processing company sick and holiday pay
  • Amending any change to pay, overtime, commission & Bonus payment.
  • Managing of the Payroll inbox
  • Managing Pension administration, related queries, and optouts.
  • Processing of P11D cars
  • Dealing with payroll queries from our external and internal clients
  • Maintain relationships with our stakeholder groups.
  • Involvement in the launch of a salary sacrifice pension scheme with support from the Head of Payroll

Location

  • Based at the Group's Head Office in Chiswick (see attached map)
  • Flexible working offered with 3 days office/2 days WFH

About You:


Skills and experience required:


Technical skills -

  • 3+ years of Payroll experience.
  • Experience of using Zellis Resourcelink essential
  • Previous payroll experience within a busy in house payroll environment.
  • High level of proficiency with Excel

Softer skills -

  • Collaborative and a team player, engaging and able to build strong relationships across teams and enjoys working in a peoplebased business
  • Organised and able to work under tight deadlines to meet payroll deadlines
  • Flexible, agile, and resilient
  • Ability to flex style and communication to cater for all levels of the business
  • Able to stand back and see the big picture and comfortable to dive into the detail as required
  • Selfstarter and able to manage their time to meet required deadlines.
  • Able to build strong, collaborative working relationship with the in house HR department
