We are looking to recruit a Radiotherapy rostering co-ordinatorto join our impressive Radiotherapy team at The Mount Vernon Cancer Centre.

Mount Vernon Cancer Centre (MVCC) is one of Europe's leading and largest cancer treatment centres.

Clinical radiotherapy equipment comprises of six linear accelerators including five Truebeam units, image guidance technology and volumetric arc therapy (RapidArc) capabilities.

The Radiotherapy department is operational 7 days a week including bank holidays. External beam radiotherapy is routinely delivered between 8am-8pm Monday - Friday.

Main Responsibilities and Duties

  • To maintain the day to day erostering system to include updating the system on a daily basis to reflect planned and unplanned leave.
  • To download various reports from the erostering system as and when required
  • To ensure that the Healthroster is updated accurately to reflect the hours and shifts worked ensuring that all information is updated by the roster deadline date to allow senior managers to lock down the eroster to meet payroll deadlines
  • To maintain records of staff annual leave and approve leave in line with agreed processes
  • Process changes, requests and forms in a timely manner, whilst being aware of when further guidance may be required
  • Direct unresolved issues to relevant management.

ENHT is seeking to maintain and expand the Mount Vernon Cancer Centre staff as we move to an exciting new future.

Under the supervision of the senior Superintendent

  • The postholder will assist with coordinating administration of the radiotherapy oncall rotas within the Radiotherapy Department.
  • The post holder will also provide assistance and advice to new and existing users of the healthroster system.
  • Communicate with staff and management when annual leave is not being taken evenly throughout the year.
  • To act as the first point of contact for leave requests, checking leave requested against oncall commitments and referring up to clinical leads who will be overall responsible for authorisation leave where there are potential conflicts.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training initiatives as required.
  • Coordination of absence management admin including coordination of return to work meetings
