Acorn Recruitment is currently recruiting for an Occupational Health Nurse on behalf of their client based at the refinery in Clydach, Swansea.

This is a permanent position.

You must be registered as a General Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council and have a minimum of 4 GCSEs.

Furthermore, IT skills are essential, with working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

The job holder must have good organisational and coordination skills, be a good communicator with a good understanding of COSHH requirements and industrial hygiene along with the ability to carry occupational health practices to a high standard.

You will be required to provide a comprehensive advisory and support service to both managers and staff regarding all matters relating to occupational health and play a key role in the promotion of occupational health, safety and welfare of the workforce, employeesand contractors.

Occupational Health Nursing Diploma
Qualifications in Vital graph Spirometry
First Aid
Industrial Audiometry
Porta count Face Fit Testing
Defibrillation and Anaphylaxis
Tier 3 Hand Arm Vibration FOM Accreditation
Manual Handling Train the Trainer.

Starting at £34000 raising to £36000 when passed out at competent. There will be a shift allowance of £6800.

Working hours are a week of days (12 hours a day) a week of nights (12 hour shifts) and a week off.

In addition to this there are 33 days paid holiday, a very competitive pension and annual bonus.
