    Job Title

    We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our exceptional educational team.

    This is a rewarding role where you will play a vital part in supporting students with complex needs and learning difficulties.

    The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively with learners who have various learning difficulties, provide individualized support, and contribute to the development of person-centred academic and vocational study programmes.

    You will be responsible for assisting students during class time, liaising with the class teacher to ensure a smooth running class, enabling learners to access the curriculum, and supporting the pastoral needs of the learners.

    Your expertise in teaching and learning, combined with your ability to work collaboratively with others, will make you an invaluable asset to our team.

    • Teaching Assistants will assist students during class time to ensure they stay on track.
    • Liaise with the class teacher to guarantee a seamless class operation.
    • Enable learners to access the curriculum.
    • Support the pastoral needs of the learners.
    • Contribute actively to setting up the learning environment.
    • Support learners one-to-one or in small groups throughout the day.
    • Engage learners using personal interests.
    • Familiarity with working with students who have diverse learning requirements.
    • Confidence to support teachers in group activities across various subjects.
    • Own transport (preferred but not necessary).
    • Eligibility to work in the UK.
    • NVQ Level 2 in Teaching and Learning is preferred but not mandatory.
    • GCSE Maths and English or equivalent.
