Alecto are representing a dynamic and expanding diesel engine supply, service and repair company that has operated successfully within the global marine and offshore market for more than 40 years.

With bases in the UK, Nigeria and Australia, the company has gained an excellent reputation in the marine industry.

My client is looking for a driven Industrial Service Manager who can manage the day-to-day operations of the industrial team through quality, timely and cost-effective planning.

Job Brief
Reporting to Operations Manager.

During this role, you will be required to;

Management of service contracts and associated works
Manage day to day operations of the industrial team including planning, labour utilisation, customer contact and people development
Produce quotes and tender responses for repair, service, installation and commissioning activities as required
Provide technical support and solutions to customers and engineers
Preparation and submission of Risk Assessments and Method Statements
Maximise existing relationships identifying opportunities for additional business

Requirements:

Service, load bank testing and repairs of diesel generators and ancillary equipment
Genset supply and installation
Integration with legacy equipment
Ability to review electrical drawings and specifications
Good balance of mechanical and electrical experience
Contract management
UPS maintenance
Experience in quoting and tendering for new work, including remedials
Engine and generator control systems
Excellent organisational and planning skills
Excellent communication skills
Proven track record
