About the role:

A community support worker is exactly what it means, you will provide support to people within the community in their home.

You will not be set to just once service. You will visit a number of people within your daily route. Support sessions can be as little as 1 hour up to 3 hours per person. The role is very varied dependent on individual needs.

This can include job searching, household management, tenancy related support, support with finances and budgeting, shopping and diet, relationships and emotional support.

No two days are the same so if you like working with challenges and are confident in your ability to manage new and differing situations then this is the role for you.

Genuine occupation requirement for female only applicants.

Travel time is paid.

Hours:

Full and part time positions available.

Support hours are generally anything between 8.30am to 18.00pm (based upon the needs of the people you will be supporting, so occasional shifts may be outside of these times)
No sleep in required.

Location:

You will be working across the Medway area providing support to people within their homes.
