Marketing and Communications Officer
Band 5, £30,299 - £37,664 per annum
37 hours per week, permanent - 2 posts
An exciting opportunity has arisen for two ambitious and dynamic marketing and communications officers to join NHS Golden Jubilee.
These hands-on roles will help plan and implement marketing, communication and engagement strategies.
This role is suited to those who will enjoy a varied, project-based role and are willing to work hard in order to achieve great results.
Main duties and responsibilities include:
- Develop and manage high quality, innovative and creative marketing communication and engagement plans for a range of projects and audiences
- Implement and develop content for marketing and communication campaigns through a continuous improvement approach
- Respond to media enquiries
- Research, write, and disseminate high quality written and verbal communications for a wide range of audiences and markets such as digital copy, campaign briefing papers, impact reports and press releases
- Develop and implement effective systems to collect, monitor and evaluate marketing, communications, media and stakeholder engagement initiatives
- Coordinate, develop and evaluate high profile/VIP events, press conferences, photo calls and media events
Key skills we need:
- Experienced in a multichannel marketing and communications role
- Strong marketing and communication campaign skills, both on and offline
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to build relationships with a broad range of stakeholders
- Experience of writing creative, innovative and powerful content for a range of audiences, ensuring they meet plain English and accessibility standards
- Proficient in use of marketing, media and communications databases and customer relationship management systems
- Excellent organisational skills including effective work planning for self and effective compliance with all organisational processes.
- Proven ability to work and contribute effectively within and across teams.
- Great ideas You must bring fresh and innovative ideas to the table.
