A new role has emerged for a General Studio Assistant & Housekeeper in a Ceramics Studio/tourist accommodation based just outside of Wadebridge.

We have two separate businesses on the same premises.

The role will be a mix of Housekeeping in the tourist accommodation and to support the day to day running of the growing ceramic arts studio.

The General Studio Assistant involves a variety of activities - helping organise orders, communicating with our in-house artists, helping with the kiln/firing of the ceramics, packing products, liaising with couriers for collection, customer service work, stock counts - all contributing to the smooth running of the studio.

The Housekeeping involves thoroughly turning over rooms for the rest of the summer tourist season (until September). Duties include making beds, vacuuming, polishing, sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitizing restrooms, emptying trash & recycling and replenishing room supplies.

We're initially looking for someone part time, with scope to increase to full time.

£12.00-£15.00 per hour
