Description
Responsibilities- Input sales, purchase, and cash transactions.
- Communicate with vendors and clients to facilitate timely payments and reduce outstanding accounts receivable.
- Reconcile company accounts including bank, credit card and expenses.
- Prepare and maintain excel spreadsheets to track financial performance.
- Lodge PAYE/VAT returns with HMRC
- Complete payroll using Sage software to maintain comprehensive records.
- Evaluate supplier quotes for quality and cost to determine best value.
- Support customers by sourcing products best suited to their needs and quoting/processing orders as required.
- Compare carrier terms and fees to determine most cost effective service.
- Ensure compliance in import/export paperwork.
- Produce high quality documents for internal and customer facing needs.
- Adhoc general office duties e.g. supplies & stationery; filing & archiving
- Previous experience within a similar position.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills e.g. Excel & Word.
- Working knowledge of Sage software.
- Ability to work to strict deadlines.
- Able to work flexibly under pressure.
