Description
Responsibilities

  • Input sales, purchase, and cash transactions.
  • Communicate with vendors and clients to facilitate timely payments and reduce outstanding accounts receivable.
  • Reconcile company accounts including bank, credit card and expenses.
  • Prepare and maintain excel spreadsheets to track financial performance.
  • Lodge PAYE/VAT returns with HMRC
  • Complete payroll using Sage software to maintain comprehensive records.
  • Evaluate supplier quotes for quality and cost to determine best value.
  • Support customers by sourcing products best suited to their needs and quoting/processing orders as required.
  • Compare carrier terms and fees to determine most cost effective service.
  • Ensure compliance in import/export paperwork.
  • Produce high quality documents for internal and customer facing needs.
  • Adhoc general office duties e.g. supplies & stationery; filing & archiving
Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience within a similar position.
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills e.g. Excel & Word.
  • Working knowledge of Sage software.
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines.
  • Able to work flexibly under pressure.

Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 22.5 per week


Salary:
From £13.75 per hour
