We're looking for an NDT Trainee to join the Score Group team based at our facility in Peterhead.

About the role
The NDE trainee will be responsible for learning and understanding the principles of NDT and product technology.
This will enable them in time, to carry out all work allocated to them by the NDT Team Leader or Deputy Team Leader to the highest possible standard.

Primary responsibilities
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with QA Job Cards, company policies, procedures, standards and work instructions
- Learn and understand how to carry out Xray Radiography inspection as per QA Job Cards, company policies, procedures, standards and work instructions
- Learn and understand how to carry out Dye Penetrant Inspection as per QA Job Cards, company policies, procedures, standards and work instructions
- Learn and understand how to carry out PMI / XRF and Hardness Inspections as per QA Job Cards, company policies, procedures, standards and work instructions
- Learn and understand how to carry out risk assessments and hazard assessments (Start Cards) on all related work scopes.
- Learn and understand various industry and client specifications including ASME and Parker Aerospace.
- Responsible for the general housekeeping within and surrounding the department.
- Ability to work effectively as an individual and as part of a team.
- Troubleshooting and problem solving of all NDE issues
Qualifications
- ASNT/PCN/EN 4179/NAS 410 Qualifications, and as a minimum achieve the below,
- Radiographic inspection Level I & Dye penetrant inspection Level I
Experience
Basic CAD or similar system preferred but not essential
