As a Barclays Infrastructure Programme Manager, you will be responsible for delivering innovative technology enabled change to all Barclays colleagues transforming our Infrastructure Services Globally whilst enabling colleagues to thrive in their roles.

This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate, lead and galvanize internal teams and strategic partners to deliver the Products and Services Group wide.

You will inspire cross functional teams, selling the vision for new ways of working across the Barclaysgroup.

We are currently operating in a hybrid working environment, meaning that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in.

What will you be doing?:


  • Leading Business Case creation to ensure Programmes achieve delivery which enable our colleagues to be more productive within their roles
  • You will lead great technical teams to define, document and deliver large Programme
  • Identifying, assessing and managing risks to the success of the Programme
  • Developing robust project plans which are linked to the delivery of core business benefits, whilst providing regular and accurate reports to all stakeholders
  • Holding regular reviews to ensure the Programme is meeting its commitment
  • Building and maintaining trusted relationships within cross functional teams to ensure that change control procedures are adhered to and benefits are achieved
  • Collaborating and owning vendor relationships to ensure all external activities are captured in project plan and delivered to a successful outcome
  • Liaising with Chief Technology Office, Security and Engineering teams to ensure build design and implementation activities will be delivered in line with the colleagues' needs

What we're looking for:


  • Demonstrable experience in leading Programmes and embedding the associated Business benefit, to include identifying and tracking the critical path of the programme
  • Ability to build good working relationships with Business and Technology teams to collate requirements, coordinate design work, plan out delivery activity and drive overall delivery
  • Able to analyse and document specific projects' business requirements and strategic resolution initiatives, to describe alternative problemsolving approaches and their optimal uses

Skills that will help you in the role:

  • Ability to maintain a dialogue in difficult situations, across wide reaching cross functional teams
  • Able to lead development, post implementation reviews and lessons learnt documentation
  • Demonstrate the ability to work with teams to embed operational requirements needed to manage an end to end service
  • Experience in identifying risks, issues and dependencies and can perform aanalysis on value at risk and mitigation options across programmes

Where will you be working?
You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford.

The Barclays Technology Campus just outside Manchester is our tech command centre and a vital strategic powerhouse behind our global operations.

The campus is set in a 64 acre self-contained site, in a beautiful greenenvironment and it offers unrivalled facilities for work and for play.
