Are you a qualified Data Engineer who is looking to develop his software skills by working for the UK Government?

Do you have experience with SQL/Python, Datalake/NoSql/Kimball/RDMBS and MS Azure?

NonStop is looking for an experienced Data Engineer who can develop, construct and test architectures such as databases and also implement data flows to connect operational systems.

Here you'll have the opportunity to work from home 80% of the schedule and not only will you be able to save energy and gas money but also you can spend more time near your family

Due to the nature of the assignment, details need to remain vague at this point, but the central requirements are:

Develop efficient data pipelines and products, using cloud native and best in class technologies as appropriate.
Develop automated data ingest routines, work flows and mappings for structured and unstructured data.
Provide accessible and reusable data for multiple Government Departments and Private Sector Partners.
Define and implement version control mechanisms and strategies for the source code of the product.
Support the growth of the team, by keeping abreast of market and industry trends, and sharing knowledge and experience with the rest of the team.
Mentor more junior members of staff, building capability within the team and the data engineering practice.
