The Best Connection Group Ltd - Oldham are recruiting a PCB Assembler/Surface Mount Technician for our client in Middleton on a Temp-to-perm basis.


Working hours

  • 8am 4:30pm Mon Thurs
  • 8am 2:30pm Friday

Pay rate
- £12.42 dependant on experience

  • Overtime available paid at premium rate once standard hours have been worked.

Responsibilities of the Surface Mount Technician

  • Kitting and loading boards onto the SMT machine
  • Using reflow ovens
  • Quality Control
  • Working from Job sheets
  • Soldering components to boards

Requirements of the Surface Mount Technician

  • Able to follow written procedures
  • Ability to hit targets and deadlines
  • Well organised and methodical approach
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team

Benefits & Requirements:


  • Hourly rate as above (not age dependent)
  • 28 days Paid Annual Leave prorata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
  • Possible permanent position following a successful trial period
