Plant & Tool Fitter - Day shift

Full time - £14-16ph

Surrey, Parking on site

  • Due to growth, my clients, are looking for a Plant & Toolfitter to join their team. Great opportunity to join a Rapidly growing national business.

The Role:

  • Test, maintain and service plant and hand tools.
  • Site visits to repair equipment.
  • Maintain the workshop test and ancillary equipment.
  • Maintain the appearance of the hire fleet with bodywork repairs & painting including updating the fleet numbers.
  • If required, assist the drivers with loading or unloading of vehicles.
  • Any other ad hoc duties as requested by Manager.

The Person:

  • Full driving licence required.
  • Experience in plant engineering/ fitting/ testing as above and small power tools.
  • Ability to learn about new products and understanding them to good level and be aware of competitor information.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer Literate.
  • Flexible approach to overtime and tasks allocated.
  • Good geographical area knowledge.
  • Analytical in problem solving.
  • Fit and active.
