We at Randstad are looking for a teaching assistant looking for exciting opportunities to support Year 2 children.

The school is based out of Leeds, LS 17 area and you will be supporting children of ages between 5-7.

You will be required to work into a full time role with the timings between 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM (Monday to Friday).

The school is aiming to guarantee that each children experiences a joyful and prosperous journey. An atmosphere is cultivated where children are motivated by the prospect of accomplishment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Assist the teacher in preparing and organising classroom materials.
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment.
  • Work individually or in small groups with children who need extra attention.
  • Foster a safe and inclusive classroom atmosphere where all children feel valued.
  • Collaborate with the teacher to implement lesson plans and activities.
  • Provide feedback to the teacher about children's progress and challenges.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience in the role
  • Hold an Enhanced DBS or be willing to obtain one through randstad
  • Patient and has excellent time management skills
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Committed to working collaboratively with the school and the team.
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK (No Sponsorship provided)
