We are now currently recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistants for Primary Schools in the Enfield area


The SEN Teaching Assistant role will be supporting children in the class as well as providing support 1:1 support to children with Learning Difficulties and Autism.

This post will require you to work full-time and start date
ASAP
There will either be parking available nearby but certainly a local bus route or train station nearby.


All schools will have a long-lasting relationship with RT Education, therefore you may be offered a contract with the school or a permanent position once you have proven yourself.

  • Providing high quality of 1:1 support for children who have Learning Difficulties and Autism as well as working in groups.
  • Supporting all learners in all areas of their development.
  • Supporting the class teacher where needed.
  • Using your creativity to support during lessons and adapting approach to support the specific needs of each student.
  • Supervising in daily routines throughout the day.
  • Responsible to safeguard the health and safety of pupils including upholding all risk assessments.

Person Specification

  • Have experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant.
  • Need to have a high level of understanding of Special Education Needs.
  • Supporting in providing a high quality of care.
  • Assisting in delivering and supporting students in lessons.
  • Organising and participating in classroom activities and preparing resources.
  • Working collaboratively as part of a successful team.
