We've Got the Key brand, and we are now one of the largest auto-locksmiths in the country.


The Role


The Training Team is a key driver of change and improvement in a growing business, and your energy and enthusiasm will help to shape the future L&D strategy and culture of the company.


As a department we use robust Training Needs Analyses to design and deliver top-quality development to employees, before evidencing our success via formal Evaluation and Measurement reports.

You will work closely with the training manager to transform the vision for an award-winning training department into reality.

Our goal is to change the business into a learning-focused one, where every employee gets the support they need to achieve their full potential.


Responsibilities

You will:

  • Provide a learning and development consultancy service to stakeholders at all levels of the business
  • Complete formal Training Needs Analysis to identify learning requirements and recommend solutions
  • Design effective classroom and eLearning training courses for learners covering a broad range of topics and using a variety of media
  • Deliver engaging training to learners, both in individual and group settings
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training solutions and provide recommendations for future improvement
  • Carry out various administrative tasks, including recording learning, collating feedback, sending training requests/reminders and compiling regular management reports
  • Review and proofread training materials for accuracy and quality

Essential requirements

You must have:

  • A passion for helping others to develop their abilities, along with a desire to provide the best possible learner experience
  • The ability to continually develop and improve based on feedback and selfreflection
  • An aptitude for building positive working relationships with stakeholders across the business
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong IT and maths abilities
  • At least two years of experience working in a professional learning environment, including delivering planned training sessions.

Desirable

  • Experience in creating eLearning courses, including familiarity with Articulate Rise/Storyline (or an equivalent eLearning design package)
  • Multimedia skills (e.g. in graphic design, audio or video editing)
  • A background that includes carrying out formal Training Needs Analyses and Training Evaluations
  • An understanding of the financial services industry
  • Project management or consultancy abilities
  • Experience administering an LMS
  • A recognised L&D qualification.

Shifts:

40 hours a week, Monday to Friday, but with some flexibility needed for occasional out-of-hours training.

We are happy to discuss flexible / alternative working arrangements.


Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
Up to £28,000.00 per year
