Receptionist (Part Time)
Aircraft Restoration Co.

(ARCo) is a family owned organisation which specialises in the restoration, maintenance and operation of vintage aircraft based at the historic Duxford Airfield in South Cambridgeshire.

We are currently looking for a part-time Receptionist working one or two days per week (8 to 16 hours, 9.00am - 5.30pm), plus additional hours to cover holiday and absence.

Duties:

Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate departments or individuals.
Provide accurate information to callers and visitors regarding company services.
Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary.
Manage the company meeting room calendar.
Liaise with the main museum reception as required.
Handle incoming and outgoing post.
Keeping the Reception area clean and organised.
General administrative duties.

Required Skills:

Welcoming and friendly nature together with the ability to manage requests both internally and externally.
Confidence in communicating with individuals from all walks of life.
Self-Motivated with an eye for detail.

Your Background:

Previous Reception or Customer Service experience is essential.
Ideally you will have a certain amount of flexibility to work during the week.
You will be used to working on your own initiative and managing your own workload.
High standard of accuracy together with an eye for detail.
