Description

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join a well established (40 years ago) Residentoial Care Srvice in Preston.

The Support Worker will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour.

The Supporty Worker role will include the following responsibilities:

Assisting with daily living activities.
Providing emotional and practical support to individuals with disabilities
Encouraging independence and promoting autonomy
Collaborating with other team members and healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for individuals
Keeping accurate records and documentation of care provided

The ideal person for this Support Worker role will have:

Experience in a support worker or carer role = or a desire to get in to that line of work
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A positive attitude and a passion for helping others

The basic rate of pay is circa £10.40.

Overtime is paid on top of this, as are 'sleep ins' - this will see yoour annual salary rise to seomthing in the region of £29k.
