Key Responsibilities

  • Reviewing allocated cases and delivering underwriting decisions by following agreed processes with the necessary direction and support, in order to secure profitable business within the agreed risk appetite.
  • Driving better customer experience seeking first contact resolution where possible, navigating customer interactions in a friendly, empathetic, efficient manner.
  • Dealing with inbound interactions with brokers in line with your underwriting licence and operational service agreements.
  • Working effectively with your Technical Coach to consult on nonstandard risks outside of your underwriting licence, redirecting brokers to most appropriate place to achieve operational efficiency whilst maximizing the customer experience.
  • Contributing to creating a culture of performance and pace within your team, focused on improving the customer experience and delivering financial results.
  • Highlighting any quality issues, resolving or escalating issues to ensure consistent standards and handoffs are delivered.

About You

  • Experience within Customer Service or a recent graduate
  • Insurance or Financial Services experience is beneficial but not essential.
  • Good communication and listening skills.
