Job Description - Specialist Property Valuer

Location Base:
Holmfirth, West Yorkshire (regional travel required/remote working available)


Salary:
£50,000 DOE

Main purpose of the role

To focus on property lead generation, collating landlord/property information and valuing our upcoming stock for sales purposes.

Main duties

• To undertake valuations of properties within a wide range of portfolios and locations on a regular basis
• To undertake a variety of Loan Security and Institutional Valuations
• To assist and take responsibility for junior team members in the preparation of regularly valued portfolios
• To liaise with fund manager and brokers on a regular basis on the current market and stock
• To undertake secured lending valuations and other oneoff valuations when required
• In conjunction with other team members, to develop the Department's existing and prospective client relationships
• Attend presentations to clients when required

- responsible for the valuing of HMOs/Investment Properties

• Liasing with HMO specialist lenders such as Shawbrook, Landbay

Qualifications

• MRICS Qualified
• Highly numerate and proficient in MS Office packages and databases
• A good knowledge of HMO Valuations software and HMO specialist financial services would be preferable
• Good market knowledge required
• Must possess excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and report writing skills

From £50,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

• BURY: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• MRICS: 2 years (required)

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (preferred)
