An exciting opportunity has arisen for Clinical Leader within Main Theatres.We are looking for individuals who have excellent anaesthetic skills across a wide and varied range of surgical specialities.
You will be required to plan, organise and prioritise your workload and, most importantly, support the junior and senior members of the team.
You will demonstrate professionalism at all times whilst maintaining a safe environment for patients and staff, providing innovation in your practice.
We are looking for individuals who will seize this challenge and develop the staff and the service to reflect the changing nature of surgery.
Essential qualifications and/or experience:
RGN (with appropriate anaesthetic qualification) or ODP, both with relevant Band 5 or above experience.
Demonstrate competent knowledge and clinical expertise within emergency anaesthesia, including completion of clinical development pathways to reflect this.
Evidence of recent professional development, with the ability to lead, teach, motivate and develop a Theatre team appropriately.
Registration with appropriate professional body.
You will be responsible for the provision of a high quality patient focused service, based upon the assessment of patient's needs within a designated specialist area of perioperative practice.
To act as a clinical specialist, supervising and supporting the teams to ensure the provision of an effective and efficient service to patients and Clinicians.
Support the training and development of all grades of staff, including the provision of a positive learning environment in which staff can maximise their potential.
