ROLE:

At MATCHES, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Designer with a strong focus on motion graphics to join our innovative Brand and Content Team.

As a Senior Designer, you will play a pivotal role in conceptualizing, designing, and delivering captivating motion graphics projects across various platforms.

Your expertise in motion graphics will contribute to enhancing the visual experience for our esteemed customers and driving the creative direction of our renowned brand.

Additionally, you will provide guidance and mentorship to the design team, fostering their growth and ensuring the delivery of high-quality work that aligns with our unique combination of technical savviness and curated content.


WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Collaborate closely with the team to develop and execute motion graphics projects across our global website, mobile apps, social media platforms, and other marketing channels, ensuring our brand's visual identity is consistently showcased.
  • Utilize your expertise in motion graphics to conceptualize and create visually stunning and engaging designs that align with MATCHES's unique combination of technical savviness and curated content.
  • Lead the endtoend design process for design projects, from ideation and storyboarding to animation and final production, ensuring the highest quality of deliverables that exceed the expectations of our discerning customers.
  • Stay at the forefront of the latest trends and best practices in motion graphics design, incorporating innovative ideas to elevate the creative output of MATCHES and keep us at the cutting edge of the industry.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to designers, fostering their growth and professional development within our supportive and collaborative work environment.
  • Collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams, including the Head of Design, to ensure consistency in visual identity and brand guidelines across all customer touchpoints, celebrating the relationships we build with our clients and brand partnerships.

ROLE

  • Proven experience as a Senior Designer with a focus on motion graphics, showcasing a strong portfolio of motion graphics projects that demonstrate your ability to merge logic and magic in your designs.
  • Advanced proficiency in industrystandard software, such as Adobe Creative Suite, and a solid understanding of tools and platforms for digital design and animation.
  • Strong conceptual and problemsolving skills, with the ability to translate ideas into visually compelling motion graphics designs that resonate with our luxury fashionconscious customers.
  • Deep understanding of motion graphics principles, including animation, timing, and storytelling, enabling you to create visually captivating designs that evoke emotion and drive engagement.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, delivering highquality work under tight deadlines without compromising on creativity or precision.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present and articulate design concepts and ideas, ensuring a seamless integration of motion graphics across various platforms.
  • Previous experience mentoring and guiding junior designers, fostering their growth and development within a supportive and ambitious team.
  • Passion for the world of luxury fashion and a keen eye for the latest industry trends, enabling you to deliver motion graphics designs that excite and inspire our discerning MATCHES customers.
