This team is involved in developing and maintaining sophisticated platform solutions, as well as owning and driving initiatives to continually improve efficiency, agility, performance, and operational excellence.


About the role:

They are now looking for a
Senior DevOps Engineer with AWS skills and leadership experience to join their team.

This role pays up to
£95K and offers

What you will be doing:


  • Actively build and support the move from monolithic to servicesbased architecture
  • Facilitate collaboration across multiple engineering teams to drive DevOps excellence and deliver operational requirements
  • Drive innovation and continuous process improvement across the platform with a focus on automation.

Requirements:


  • Strong experience operating Production Cloud Workloads in AWS
  • Experience delivering Production content using CDN technologies (eg. Akamai, Cloudfront)
  • Comfortable taking ownership of largescale projects and/or running enterprise platforms
  • Familiarity with DevOps core concepts and tools (eg. automation, monitoring, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes etc)
  • Fluency in at least one programming language other than bash e.g. GO, Python
