Operations Interface Specialist

This role will require close working with Network Rail and Alliance Partners, other operators and across the business to develop safe and highly operable infrastructure change schemes.


Part of the TRU deliverables include a route diversionary plan will require additional station calls and changes to the Station Operational Risk Assessments including and train stopping positions.

Holding Operational competence, the role will support as necessary the ongoing development of operational competence and embedding of change and development of new operational projects from ETCS, to new trains as required.


The role will need to be able to work collaboratively both within the business and with industry colleagues to develop appropriate plans, timelines and operational briefings.

A large requirement of this role will be to work remotely, often out of a Network Rail project office.

Current Signal Sighting competency is essential for this role as is current train driving competency, TPE traction and TRU routes are desirable for traction and route competence.
